Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyVoice.AI Chrome extension and website (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Jacob Pixton, a sole proprietor doing business as ForgedByAtlas, located in the State of Utah, USA ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
MyVoice.AI is a Chrome extension that generates written text, such as emails, messages, and replies, in a style matched to writing samples you provide. You provide context and an instruction, and the Service produces suggested text for you to use.
2. Accounts and sign-in
To use the Service you sign in with a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide an email address you control and are old enough to enter into these Terms (at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and in no case under 13).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break any law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, or fraudulent, including impersonating someone in a way intended to deceive or cause harm.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the text the Service generates. AI-generated text can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Review what you send before you send it.
4. Free tier and Pro subscription
The Service offers a Free tier and a paid Pro tier.
Free tier
The Free tier allows a limited number of generations per day (currently five), which resets daily. We may change these limits over time.
Pro subscription
Pro is offered at $5 per month or $49.99 per year, described as early access pricing. Pro removes the daily generation limit as described on our site. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change for future billing periods, with notice where required.
5. Billing, renewal, and cancellation
Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Monthly subscriptions renew every month. Annual subscriptions renew every year.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, you keep Pro access through the end of your current paid period, and you are not billed again after that.
- Except as described in our Refund Policy, payments are non-refundable.
We never receive or store your full payment card details. Payment processing is governed by Stripe's terms.
6. Your content and writing samples
You keep ownership of the content you submit and the writing samples you provide. Your writing samples are stored in your browser's Chrome sync storage, not in our database. You grant us a limited license to process the content you submit only as needed to operate the Service and generate your requested text. See our Privacy Policy for how content is handled, including processing by third-party AI providers.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including OpenRouter and its upstream AI model providers for text generation, Stripe for payments, and Google Chrome for the extension platform and sync storage. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose while you comply with these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated text will be accurate, appropriate, or fit for any particular use. You use the Service and any generated text at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue a paid Service, we will handle any prepaid amounts as required by applicable law and our Refund Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah, to the extent permitted by law.
